William P. Brooks homestead

Front view of the homestead and birthplace of William Penn Brooks (President, Mass. Agricultural College, 1905-1906) in Scituate (now Norwell), Massachusetts. It is believed that this homestead was built in or about 1723 by Nathaniel Brooks II. Nathaniel VI was the father of President Brooks. Note the two Japanese maples planted in front of the house.
