Spain - McCormack notes that Gary Player has become associated with Spain's luxury golf resort complex, LaManga Campo de Golf. He announces a 72-hole Pro-Amateur will be held there this year and feature ninety amateurs with thirty teams playing for prize money of $38,900. McCormack and Player would like Pare to be one of the United States invitees to the tournament.
