Standing in front of either French or Wilder Hall. Photograph is a rephotograph of a stereoscope made in 2003. The paper insert describes Sears, Thompson, and Waugh as undergraduates at Kansas Agricultural College in the 1890's. It also says that Sears, Thompson, and Phelan lived on Mt. Pleasant at one time.

Photograph of an oil painting of Sears. Attached release dated "Friday A.M. - May 29" indicates Sears is head of the pomology department, retiring in June, and that the oil painting, which will be hung in Goodell Library, is a gift of the senior class.
