Lt. Charles Morris, Prof. of Military Science and Tactics 1878-81, dressed in his military uniform. A Lieutenant in the 5th Army Artillery, Morris was the first leader of the Mass Aggie Band, the Morris Drum Corps, as it was known, began as a military unit.
