Philippines - Sitting in his jungle foxhole with battle noise all around. Manila is as ruined as any city in the war. "Combat surely is a lot different from what I expected it to be but still is plenty rough at times and, although I haven't been in combat very long, I have helped me (first) to realize the supreme honor for the Emperor...."
