Letter from Louisa Gass to Sadie Kessel

Oquakwa (Ill.) - Louisa jokingly assures Sadie that she and papa are still alive and well. She talks about her horses, and how stubborn "Gyp" is. She also talks about her cats and kittens, and notes how mischievous Priscilla is. Louisa goes on to talk about town gossip. Louisa then informs Sadie that the directors of the local school are interested in having Sadie come teach at their school.
