France - Joy over armistice; do not know how things will come out, but expect to come home soon. "But one thing sure is that we know we have come out without a scratch and that surely is some great luck. Today we have not done any work of any kind..." Happened to meet a first cousin at the YMCA and tried to work out family relations.

France - Pretty soft at present, drill a few hours to keep in condition. Armistice celebrations in France. Flu has taken some boys, but it sounds worse at home. Heard they were to turn in their guns and gas masks.
