France - A postcard of the "Demba et Dupont" monument erected in honor of the creators of French West Africa and the glory of the black army in World War I, and commemorating the life of colonial administrator Louis Faidherbe. The statue was later relocated outside the train station of Dakar, Senegal and embellished with further plaques in memory of other administrators.
