Brann, Clinton T., 1891-1961
Clint attended his first Catholic church service at the request of his commanding officer because the local church invited the officers to attend. The French was very beautiful, although he could only understand a little of it. They had a Protestant service after the Catholic one, and some of the officers will be leaving for home in order to organize new regiments. He insists that he's not going to run off with some french girl, and Rhea shouldn't worry about it. He writes about how he will sit by her at the piano when he returns while she sings for him, and writes a few lines of song. One of his pals asked him if he knew the song "Souvenir," which surprised him because of the significance that song has for him.
