Brann, Clinton T., 1891-1961
Clint and Llyod have finally found each other and are now camped about 100 yards apart. Clint describes their unlikely meeting and how Llyod is recovering from the shrapnel wound in his elbow. Llyod met Clint's younger brother Frank, who is in the navy, when he was in Bordeaux. Boyd is still back in the states, in a camp near Minneapolis. Llyod is with Clint at his cot reading their military newspaper and he writes about the various newspapers they have access to. They're usually woken in the morning by the sound of the Marine Band but that morning they woke up to German bombings nearby. Llyod includes a note in the letter expressing his surprise at running into Clint and telling Rhea that he is happy and doing well and will write to her later.
