Brann, Clinton T., 1891-1961
Clint has sent Rhea a gift with this most recent letter and has received a belated letter from his mother that had good things to say about Rhea, some of which he quotes. He's glad that his mother is accepting of Rhea and he thinks they will take the news well once it's clear that the two of them have plans to marry. He reflects on the differing reactions to the news of peace at home and on the front. He will be "a homesick boy" come Christmas, which is still an improvement from last year when he was both homesick and seasick. He would gladly endure seasickness again to be with her and asks her to send him good cigarette wrappers in her next letter.
