Brann, Clinton T., 1891-1961
Clint writes about Christmas packages, the bad mood he's in that day, the poem Rhea sent him, and a dance they were invited to. Captain Sampson, the regimental surgeon, learned about how he wasn't feeling well and suspected he might have recurring appendicitis, so now Clint has been eating nothing but soup but is feeling better. He doesn't want Rhea to worry, since he thinks it isn't appendicitis. He's heard an unhappy rumor that they might be called to Russia to help deal with what is happening over there, but he hopes it isn't true.
