Brann, Clinton T., 1891-1961
Clint got a letter from Irma which informed him of his father's death, which caused him to break down completely. He feels guilty that he was enjoying himself on leave while his father was dying. He writes of his grief and how much he loved his father, and how strong his mother has been to bear all this. He went to division headquarters to ask about being sent home, and colonel Oliver told him go to 1st Division headquarters and he would see that from there he was sent home as quickly as possible. Dr. Younglove and Clint's other friends all hate to see him go, and he is sad to leave them, but glad that he feels that way about the people he met during his time overseas.
