Belville, Lloyd S. (Sherman), 1892-1949
Lloyd finally received a collection of letters from Rhea, the most recent of which is from early January. He writes about other mail that he received, including letters from his mother and Clinton. The rumor industry is thriving where Lloyd is, but he does hope that he will be sent home soon. He's happy to hear that Rhea and Clinton will be married and he hopes it doesn't fall through. He jokes that if it does fall through, he'll have to go after Rhea himself, which would be embarrassing for someone since he's already halfway promised to another person. He apologizes for the "awful letter" he wrote her a while back, citing his homesickness for what he said. He tells her a little about his situation in France.
