McCormack, Mark H.
McCormack responds to Vic Wallis' note of August 1, 1968 and informs him that when he gets back from his current trip to South Africa, he will call him to discuss the contents of this letter and to meet Mr. McNomee. McCormack apologizes for neglecting to write him about the tournament proposal but he wanted to speak to Bob Ferrier about it before doing so. He explains that it would be their thought that Uniroyal would conduct hopefully two tournaments during 1969, the Uniroyal European Cup and the Uniroyal Far Eastern Cup. He notes that Wallis' suggestion that the first event be called the "Atlantic Cup" and the second be the "Pacific Cup" should be seriously considered. McCormack spells out time of year, locations, prize money, film production, and management conditions for both tournaments.
