Military dress portrait of William Patrick Fitzgerald, unclassified but possibly a member of the Class of 1912 who enlisted in 1917 to serve in World War I. He served as first lieutenant in Company M, 101st Infantry, 26th Division and fought at Chemin-des-Dames, La Reine Boucq and Pas Fini. He was killed in action at Verdun on July 15, 1918. "W.P.
