This series contains 4 motion pictures and several reel to reel audiotapes. Films include Du Bois receiving an honorary degree in Prague in 1958; delivering a speech on television some time in 1950; visiting Premier Chou En-lai, Vice-premier Chen Yi, Chairman Mao Tse-tung, and others in China in 1959 with Shirley Graham Du Bois; and the dedication of Du Bois Park at his home site in Great Barrington, Mass. in 1969. Audiotapes include coverage of the Du Bois's burial service by Radio Ghana on August 29, 1963; a tribute to Du Bois by Kwame Nkrumah; audio letters from several of Du Bois's friends; and a speech delivered at Johnson C. Smith University in March 1963.
