Amherst (Mass.) - View of a road at Massachusetts Agricultural College. Written on verso: "Taken by Newton Shultis about 1895 with a Hawkeye camera -- a huge boxlike affair. fell in my possession if I had some plates I would be tempted to start out tomorrow" I have now filed away some 30 plates of views of grounds of MAC taken with the camera by the writer in 95 or 96.
