Photographer, Eric Stahlberg, labeled on back of photograph was a prolific Northampton based photographer of the time. Although not mentioned in the LC, he photographed Calvin Coolidge, as well as many area college faculty and students.
A note accompanying the photograph by Samuel Snow says he is of the opinion that F. A. Waugh is walking on a path once located on the east side of the drive that was, in turn, located east of the main highway through the campus. He also thinks that the building in the background may be Clark Hall.
